Love all Your Moments by Making Your Time Count

Do you feel like time is your friend and there's plenty of it or do you constantly feel like you're rushing against the clock?

When I was first learning about emotional healing and energy medicine, one of my teachers told me I needed to "clear" my belief that "time was my enemy and I needed to constantly rush and fight with it." :/

***A "belief" or "limiting belief" is just a thought you've had over and over again that is now cemented in your mind as the way things are. These beliefs are how a lot of our lives are structured whether we realize it or not! Our brains consult our core belief system about everything to determine what different things mean and what's possible for us. This is why becoming aware of your deep "beliefs" and clearing the ones that are limiting is such a valuable practice!

What is it that causes a “Bad Holiday?” I'm not referring to a burnt meal or a messy house, those things aren't the funnest but they are usually easier to repair and recover from. Dealing with the Inner Critic

Do you have a way of expressing your creativity? I don’t mean that you have to be an artist. (unless you are) What I mean is, do you have a way of expressing your passion or a deep desire to explore and learn more about the things that you enjoy?  

Imagine that your heart, perhaps your spirit, really wants to teach or take some art classes, yet as soon as you decide to act on that nudge you hear a voice in the back of your mind saying, “Are you crazy? Who do you think you are? Everyone else is so much better than you are. Why would you even try that? What’s the point? How will that pay the bills? etc. etc.” It goes on and on and on.

Could Change be as Simple as Remembering?
Today I found an awesome quote so I posted it on my Facebook page.  This was the quote:  "Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself." --Leo Tolstoy 
 
One of my friends commented on the post and I loved what he said. Here was his response: "Sometimes you don't have to change...you just have to accept what you already know about yourself....and it just feels like change."
 
This reminded me instantly of Marianne Williamson's brilliant quote:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.  We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?  Actually, who are you not to be?  You are a Child of God.  Your playing small doesn't serve the world.  There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.  We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.  It's not just in some of us;  it's in everyone.  And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
 
So.. what if we all already know that we are magnificent deep inside?  Could it be that change is just the process of coming into complete acceptance of who we really are?  What a concept!  What if we're not worthless and incompetent failures who's lives are a mess?  What if we have just temporarily forgotten who we really are and the truth about ourselves which is.. we're already perfect, whole, and complete?
 
What if when we are going through really tough times we could see those times as a process of remembering our truth?  Who we really are?  The more we remember who we are.. the more allowing we can be of ourselves simply on the journey of remembering.  The more allowing we are, the more we can love and accept others right where they are and help them remember.
 
If you're going through a tough times, you can calm the fight or flight stress response in the body using the following technique: 
 
Just lay the palm of your hand across the center of your chest and use the fingertips of the other hand to tap the back of hand between ring finger and pinky finger. While tapping the back of the hand, make the following kinds of statements while taking deep breaths:
 
"Even though I'm going rough times, I'm feeling so scared and beat up right now, I am choosing to feel calm and centered. Even though things feel chaotic and stressful and I'm not sure where to go from here, I'm choosing to feel calm and centered. What if I could use this experience as a tool to help me clearly define who I'm not and what I don't want? Since it's helping me to see what I don't want to experience in my life, I can now clearly identify what I do want and put my focus and energy on that. What if I could just accept this experience and use it as a catalist for healing rather than fighting and hating it. I'm choosing to stay open to healing and new solutions coming into my life."
 
Take some deep breaths and keep tapping this way until you feel calm and centered. This is a powerful technique designed to soothe the body's Triple Warmer Energy System.
